6 Simple Steps to Complete
“Big Sky Aspens”
We’re going to meet for two LIVE painting sessions on Monday and Tuesday, June 17th and 18th, 2024.
If you don’t have painting supplies yet, that’s totally fine.
You can just watch and enjoy seeing just how fun and easy it will be for you to paint “Big Sky Aspens.”
You will have access to the recordings of our two painting sessions for TWO WHOLE WEEKS.
That’s plenty of time to get the small amount of supplies needed to complete “Big Sky Aspens.”
Here’s what we’ll do on…
DAY 1
Before we even get to our canvas, I’m going to show you WHY my painting techniques is SO EASY.
In fact, it’s SO EASY that, now,
thousands of people are painting this gorgeous painting who never thought they could paint before!
I’m going to demonstrate using a piece of bread and some peanut butter.
Sounds, crazy, right?
But you’re going to see right away that the EXACT same motion you use to spread peanut butter on bread is the MAIN technique you need to paint this gorgeous painting.
It’s going to be SO fun. Beautiful AND delicious!
Then, we’ll spend the rest of our time on Day 1 preparing our canvas for day 2.
We’ll get our beautiful blue sky and puffy white clouds covering our canvas. That way, we can let it dry overnight, which will make it PERFECT for adding our Aspen trees on Day 2.
We’ll prepare our canvas in 2 simple steps.
Step #1: From Blank Canvas to Bright Blue Sky
In step #1, you’ll discover some great little techniques that will make feel like an experienced, confident painter right away… especially when you realize you can paint a gorgeous background in less than 10 minutes.
Step #2: Forming Layers of Realistic Clouds
In video #2, you’ll fill in the rest of your background with beautiful clouds.
You’ll get a wonderful boost of confidence as you experience how simple the circular motion that creates beautiful clouds in a matter of seconds. And they look so warm and natural!
At the end of this first session, you’ll have a really great start to “Big Sky Aspens,” even though you’ve hardly used any pink yet.
All this preparation is going to pay off BIG TIME on Day 2, after your painting’s had a chance to dry overnight.
So, now let’s see how we’re going to finish “Big Sky Aspens.”
DAY 2
Step #3: The Buttered-Toast Tree Trunk Technique
Now we’re ready to sculpt and bring to life our beautiful Aspen trees!
In step #3, you’ll feel like a seasoned pro as you begin sculpting your tree trunks, and you'll LOVE how they pop off the canvas.
Step #4: Bringing Your Trunks To Life
In step #4, we’ll enhance the shape, color, and glow of your tree trunks. You’ll feel like a master of details when you use the simple tip-of-the-palette-knife technique I’ll show you.
Step #5: Sprouting Branched From Gnarled Knobs
In step #5, you’ll add important details to your trunks by expanding the basic “toast-buttering” technique.
You’ll feel like a tree master in a matter of minutes when you realize how life-like you can make each trunk look.
Step #6: Sprinkling Tree With Colorful Leaves
In step #6, you’ll add a shock of contrasting yellows to your scene. I’ll show you the simple “scoop and dab” technique that makes a perfect layering of Aspen leaves.
Now you’ll really feel like an experienced painter when you realize how few, simple little dabs transform your scene and bring it to life.
Step #7: Finishing “Big Sky Aspens”
In our final step, we’ll put the finishing touches on your painting. If you haven’t already felt the amazing confidence boost of creating such a beautiful landscape, you’ll feel it now as you step back and see all the great work you’ve done.
You’ll feel such an amazing sense of accomplishment, you won’t be able to wait to show your family. And they’ll love it so much, they’ll start asking you… “Can I hang this on my wall?”
